On 25 November 1739 another daughter was born and in that period, San Nicolò (Dogado Alvise Pisani) was still part of the Serenissima
but probably the events of the Savoy court were known anyway: Carlo Emanuele III, heir to the throne of the Savoy and little esteemed by his
father Vittorio Amedeo II he had married Polissena d'Assia-Rheinfels-Rotenburg and although it was a marriage decided by his father Vittorio
Amedeo II, the two were very much in love to the point that Vittorio Amedeo II did not look kindly on his daughter-in-law and with the excuse
distracting her husband from politics forced the couple to sleep in separate apartments. Probably this story has leaked and hence the name of
the second daughter! After the death of the Doge Alvise Pisani, Pietro Grimani was elected who remained in office until his death on 7 March
1752 and on 18 March Francesco Loredan was elected. Polissena marries Domenico, son of Zuanne Mancin on 24 March 1761.
